• Inner Harbor - lunch, shopping, and free time in historic district
• Sports in the Capital - cheer for a local team at one of Washington’s professional sporting events (*2009 Summer Schedules TBA)
Thursday, June 18
Capitol Hill: Seat of our Democracy
• Congressional Visits – prearranged office appointments with U.S. Senators and Representatives
• Tours of “The Hill” - U.S. Capitol Building, the Library of Congress, and the newly-opened U.S. Capitol Visitor Center
• Legislation in Action - Committee Hearing or the House and Senate Galleries (dinner follows)
Friday, June 19
Our Community: Service Learning Project
• Day of Community Service – in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. and the Diocese of Arlington, VA (lunch provided)
• Farewell to Washington, D.C. – a final evening of dinner, music, and dancing
