Saturday, October 2, 2010 – WELCOME TO WASHINGTON, DC AND ORIENTATION

5:15am                 American Airlines 72 Arrives at Chicago O’Hare Airport

6:45am                 American Airlines 496 Departs Chicago for Washington/Reagan Airport

9:30am                 American Airlines 496 Arrives Washington Reagan Airport

Welcome to Washington, DC – Mililani Middle School Group is greeted by Washington Workshops Foundation Staff at the airport

10:15am               Group Departs Washington-Reagan Airport for the Washington Monument

11:30am               A View over Washington, DC – Enjoy a Bird’s Eye View by visiting the top of the Washington Monument

1:00pm                 Visit the Pentagon City Shopping Center for Lunch and Free Time

4:30pm                 Depart Pentagon City for the Savoy Suites Hotel

5:15pm                 Check –In to the Savoy Suites Hotel

6:30pm                 Dinner and Orientation – Savoy Suites Hotel

8:00pm                 Curfew and Early Evening to Catch up on rest

9:00am                Interactive Exploration of the Gettysburg Battlefield

1:30pm                 Bus departs for Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

2:30pm                Explore Harpers Ferry National Historic Area

4:00pm                 Bus Departs for Washington, DC

6:30pm                 Dinner at the Evening Breeze – Tex Mex/Caribbean

1:30pm                 Explore The American History Museum

  • The Star Spangled Banner
