Each application should be submitted with the following information:
□ Washington Internship Experience Application Form (Page 1 and 2)
□ Non-refundable application fee of $150.00 (option available on through the online application)
□ Typed Resume…(To submit via our online application your resume should be in MS □ Word, or a compatible word processing file )
□ Letters of Character Reference (For online submission please have a scanned, electronic copy available)**
□ Letter of Academic Reference (For online submission please have a scanned, electronic copy available)**
□ One page typed essay titled “Why I Want To Be a Washington , D.C. Intern” (To submit online your essay should be in MS Word or, a compatible word processing file)
Upon receipt and evaluation of a student's application materials and completion of a phone interview, a preliminary letter of acceptance is sent to the student.
Once the Workshops Foundation receives confirmation of an intern assignment, the prospective student is notified.
Final payment is requested within three weeks.
All payments may be made by personal check, cash, money order, MasterCard, or Visa.
This final payment is fully refundable provided written notice is provided to our office three weeks prior to seminar attendance.
* If you aren't able to obtain a scanned, electronic copy of your Character or Academic references to submit with your online application, please feel free to send them to our office separately via regular mail.
