The following is an example of a typical Junior High/Middle School Seminar schedule.

SUNDAY   
Noon - 5pm  Registration Check-in, receive room assignments, room keys, and seminar materials
5:30-6:30pm  Dinner
7pm  Orientation Review coming attractions for the seminar week, cover responsibilities and expectations for the seminar, introduce the main educational focus of the week
  
MONDAY   
9am-12 noon   Tour/Visit Mount Vernon Ancestral home of George Washington, America’s first president
12:30pm  Visit and Tour the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History (dedicated to the natural world including Hope Diamond and Dinosaur skeletons)
2:50pm   IMAX Smithsonian Educational Film
3:45pm   National Archives Home of the Decleration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights
7:00pm  

Night Tour of Washington:
      • The New World War II Memorial
      • Jefferson Memorial
      • Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
      • Iwo Jima Memorial

   
TUESDAY  
9:00am   White House Photo Opportunity
9:30am   Tour of National Monuments:
      • The Lincoln Memorial
      • Vietnam Veterans Memorial
      • Korean Veterans War Memorial
11:00am   Embassy Visit and Lecture Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
12:30pm  Lunch Union Station, national historic site
2:00pm   Group Photo The Capitol Reflecting Pool, West front, The US Capitol Building. (Students receive their panoramic, commerative photo at the end of the seminar week)
3:30pm Visit and Tour the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (Dedicated to aviation and space exploration)
5:30-6:30pm   Dinner in fashionable Georgetown Restaurant
7:00pm

WEDNESDAY  
9am-4:30pm  Explore Capitol Hill Individual school groups meet with members of Congress and Senators, attend Committee hearings, and observe the House and Senate in session.
5:30-10:00pm  Optional Theater Night Package Schools have dinner at exciting places like Hard Rock Cafe followed by a performance at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Many groups attend the whodunnit' comedy: Shear Madness
   
THURSDAY  
9:30am  

Wreath Laying Ceremony. Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery. Present wreath and witness the changing of the guard.

11:45am  

Lunch/Shop Pentagon City Fashion Centre

2:00pm   Holocaust Memorial Museum Dedicated to celebrating the live of victims through testimonial and keen museum presentation
6:00pm   The Spirit of Washington Students conclude their week with a dinner cruise and dance upon the Potomac River. Prizes and a chaperoned, DJ'd dance highlight this last hurrah!
